Movie Night Wednesday 24th

This weeks movie is focusing on how Governments use their polices of free trade promotion and radical neo-liberal policits to dominate some of the worlds poorest. We will be looking at the John Pilger documentry “The War on Democracy” that highlights the travesty of western control and domination in South America. We will also be looking at some practical ways of understanding what the postives and negatives of global trade are for the poor and some simple actions we can all take to give others a fair go in the marketplace. 24th May, 7.30pm @ Edmund Rice Center 123 Manukau Road, Auckland.
