The Timor Immersion was a great success in 2008 and we are please to be offering a similar program in 2009 running in the mid year holidays 27th June thru 18th July.

While initially skeptical about traveling with a group, the journey together in our beat-up Landrover through the physical, emotional and sensory landscapes of Timor was an immensely enriching experience. However, it was the 5 day family stay that was the ultimate highlight for me. I feel incredibly privileged to have been embraced so warmly in to the lives of my host family and their village. It was a rare and authentic opportunity to live, feel and experience this beautiful and fascinating culture close-up.”
The immersion is available to all over 18 and comprises of 3 weeks in two diverse communities and will offer participants many opportunities to explore justice issues on a local, international and very personal level.
